Officially witness and administer sworn oaths or solemn affirmations as required by law.

Take Affidavits

Verify Identity

The Process

Duties & Responsibilities

Every commissioning follows a rigorous, legally-prescribed process to ensure full compliance and validity.

01

Verify the Identity of the Deponent

Check the deponent's identity document to confirm it matches the person appearing before the commissioner.

02

Confirm Understanding of the Declaration

Ask whether the deponent knows and understands the contents of the declaration being signed.

03

Administer the Oath or Affirmation

Administer the prescribed oath ("I swear that the contents of this declaration are true, so help me God") or affirmation.

04

Witness the Signature

Ensure the deponent signs the declaration in the commissioner's presence.

05

Certify the Declaration

Certify below the deponent's signature, stating the manner, place, date, designation, and area of appointment.

06

Act with Integrity & Impartiality

Uphold legal and ethical standards, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure all procedures are carried out professionally.
